2 lovely weeks with Eddie Kramer and David Grissom

Just spent an AMAZING 2 weeks making a record with my old friend David Grissom and my new friend Eddie Kramer. I learned SO much from Eddie and not just audio nerd stuff. His patience, grace under pressure and beautiful stories about recording everyone from Zep and Hendrix to Carly Simon were all inspirational. He has not lost one iota of his childlike fascination with sound, watching him EQ drum mic’s is like watching Julia Childs bake a cake. It’s really good cake. David’s guitar playing and arrangements elevated this thing to a whole nutha level.
