My boy Ian Prince beat the hell out of the drums on this and my neighbors the Reiersons sang on the choruses. It’s debuting top ten in Australia and New Zealand, now we’ll see what happens for the rest of the world….

So….. tomorrow my boy Quinn Sullivan releases the first single off his new album! It’s called “Salvation” and it’s really cool. I had such a fun time writing this album with him and my old pal John Fields- seriously one of the coolest and most NATURAL sessions I’ve ever experienced. Quinn is a really different kind of guitar player, doesn’t rely on the typical blues/rock histrionics (although he can melt your face if you ask nicely) but instead shows more melodic and varied influences such as Jeff Beck and some other more sophisticated ’70’s feels in his playing. It was pretty amazing that two such old goats like me and Fields were dropping our jaws and just plain LAUGHING while Quinn ripped one-take solos during the sessions; we are NOT easily impressed at this point but that kid took us back to school. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.
